This masque is recommended for normal to oily skin. Do not use if your skin is dry. I want to stress that a little bit goes a long way. Try only 1 baking teaspoon of masque and it should cover your whole face. You may need a little more or a little less, but this is a good start.
Why is the Detox Charcoal Masque good for your skin?
Every day, toxins clog our pours, possibly leading to a poor complexion. This Detox Charcoal Face Masque binds and helps to pull the dirt out of your pores, and one benefit is that your pores become less visible. Activated charcoal pulls the dirt and excess oils away too. It also helps to treat acne, and deep cleans your skin. Additionally, if your skin is oily this may be just the right product to help balance it out.
There's another way that our family uses this masque - to treat bites, cuts and skin irritations. It can sooth and help to accelerate healing time and bring down swelling and pain.
Important tips: Do not use this masque more than twice a week or it may lead to excess dryness of your skin. Do not use if you have dry skin.
Directions: Pump approximately 1 baking teaspoon of masque into your hand. Rub your hands together and apply to your face avoiding the mouth and eye areas. Leave the masque on for 20 minutes (until dry). Use a wet cloth (it will turn black, but the masque comes out with a good soap and water wash) to remove the masque.
